Here is an accurate digital temperature display using DALLAS semiconductors 1 wire digital temperature sensor DS18S20. Also you can name this as Digital Thermometer.

Unlike DALLAS DS18B20 temperature sensor, The DS18S20 temperature sensor supports only 0.5C degree resolution. I have extended its resolution upto 0.1C degree resolution using some maths.
The project can be applied where the temperature needs to be shown both in Celsius & Fahrenheit. Ex: room temperature, cooler rooms & Engine rooms etc……..
Hardware
DS18S20 sensor configured as an external power supply mode & LCD configured as 4 bit mode to minimize the wirings. The whole circuit can work from a 5V source smoothly.
